About
How it all Started
CDF Music Group began as a simple idea in a small town in Northwest Illinois:
give talented musicians, especially original artists, a place to be seen, heard, and supported.
I started my career working for Compendia Music Group/Blue Light Records on Music Row in Nashville. In addition, I have played music for years, performing in Nashville, and throughout the Midwest, including a live performance on WGN in Chicago. I started CDF Music Group after meeting so many incredible artists locally and regionally, it became clear that there wasn’t a dedicated, high-quality outlet to showcase them. So I built one, a studio, a video series, and a platform focused on authentic performances and musician-to-musician conversations.
What started as a small project in Shannon, IL is now steadily growing, with more and more artists coming through the studio.
What We Do
Live Performances
Professional live recordings with studio-quality audio, multi-camera setup, and a polished final product. Artists leave with fully mixed/mastered audio + video they can use anywhere.
Jam w/ Jason (Interview Series)
A musician-to-musician conversation series designed to tell the artist’s story. More relaxed than a traditional interview — it’s meant to feel like two artists hanging out and talking shop.
